BELLOWING ECHOES

Follow the Bellowing Echoes and share in our uncovered fictional truths, the slumps of failure and those rare, poetic and precise moments of elated and genuine connection to the world around us. Curated by Marcel Cooper and Bronwyn Bailey-Charteris. The project will launch at Gertrude Contemporary Melbourne on April 19 till May 27 as part of the 2012 Next Wave Festival.

3pm - 4.30pm Saturday May 19,- Rise of the Wormhole Sailor. Held at Gertrude Contemporary, an afternoon of Artist talks and live happenings for the Next Wave Festival launch.

Throughout the afternoon you’ll hear from the artists and curators and share in the fictional truths and untold histories that make up the Bellowing Echoes exhibition and the 2012 Port Phillip Gazette.

Come along to see Carl Scrase’s mayoral campaign, Marcin Wojcik in conversation with Drew Pettifer, cooking and eating with the Slow Art Collective and a drag skype performance from Berlin based Playing By Ourselves.
